The market rose marginally on Saturday (March 20, 2010) a net 25.37 points (0.38%) and closed at 6699 point level. The market opened down then turned up and continued so until 15:19 hours when it reached its day high at 6717 points. Then it fell until closing.
Sentiment was bullish and 10 of the 15 sectors closed with gains. Amongst stocks with the highest volumes 4 of the top 6 were gainers indicating a bias towards the buy side of the market.

WHAT IS EXPECTED TODAY (3/21/2010)

Outlook for Today:
On Japanese candlestick patterns the index has formed a third consecutive, but small white body candle. The body of this candle is above and outside the body of the previous candle indicating a range expansion and acceleration.
Further, the index is above its 5, 15, 25 and 200 days moving averages and all the averages are positively trended. Moreover, the velocity parameters are also positively trended. All these indicate the possibility of a further up move unfolding.
